Broad Sword

The Broad Sword form consists of hacking and chopping movements. Of all the Tai Chi forms, this probably looks the most martial.
Partly due to the fact that the practitioner is
holding what is obviously a weapon, but also because the form is done with speed, and occasionally, overt power.
Despite this the movements are still circular and based on the same principles of the form.

The broad sword is sometimes referred to as the knife form as only one edge is sharp, like a knife.

Perfect does not mean perfect actions in a perfect world, but appropriate actions in an imperfect one.
